When some Americans have traveled to Italy, they are disappointed in what they have selected to eat. Some of these individuals have gone to their neighborhood Italian restaurants for years or their favorite Italian eatery or bakery in the USA and expected to eat Italian foods in Italy as they are made in the USA. Sadly, that is not the case. There are 20 regions in Italy and each region has their distinctive tastes and take on Italian cuisine. Yes, there are similarities of dishes but what is served to you in the north of Italy will differ from what is served in the central and the south and also from the Italian islands No matter what or where, you will eat very well in Italy and enjoy whatever you may choose to eat!
