While most of the samplings of wine are free, at some cantinas, fattorias and agricolas, there may be an additional charge for their premium wines and/or they may ask for a contribution to defray food costs. This year in the Marche region, Cantine Aperte will be held on the last Saturday and Sunday, on 27 - 28 May.

Please note: If a cantina is not a member of the Movimento Turismo del Vino, it is not listed above. Some regions have not provided information about their respective participation in Cantine Aperte. As soon as I see it on the Movimento Turismo del Vino web site, I'll update this blog entry. If anyone has any information on Cantine Aperte they would like to share or an update, please feel free to post it as a comment or send me an email MSG.
