Here are some links about, for or on Italian snacks:
INFORMATION
- Arancini, Fritters, and Savory Snacks – "Italy has a great tradition of street food, snacks and such that one buys in a friggitoria (where they fry foods). Wonderful stuff in mid-morning, and if you make them at home (which isn't that hard) they're excellent finger foods for parties too!" – Danette St. Onge, Our Italian Food Expert – "Our Story" – Source: Found in the Italian Food section on About.com

- Lots of Italian Snacks and Sweets to Tempt You – "The Emmy Eats on Emmymade in Japan series of videos on YouTube are great fun. In these popular food review videos, Emmy, who is from Japan, eats and describes lots of snacks and sweets from around the world, including Italy. Emmy has made three videos about Italy so far, all of which you’ll find below. Well, I like showing off what Italy has to offer and, as well as everything else, Italy does have some interesting snacks and sweets, so I’ve decided to pop Emmy’s trips into this largely unknown world of Italian cuisine here on Italy Chronicles. If you are coming to Italy and are after a snack or a sweet treat, you probably go for something which looks familiar – if that is, you can find anything. The language barrier can cause some problems too and as a result you may have ended up eating something which wasn’t quite what you expected. Emmy’s videos can prevent this little problem from occurring. I like Emmy’s video snack and sweet reviews because she tries lots of things I see every day – well, I do live in Italy. In Milan, to be precise. Emmy’s assistance, choosing snacks, sweets and cookies/biscuits when in Italy should no longer be a so hit and miss. People coming to live and work in Italy might find Emmy’s videos handy too. Over to you Emmy, get snacking!" – March 28, 2014 – by – "About" – Source: ITALY chronicles – "The Italy You Don't Know" – "all about the Italy you don't know - news, politics, views, analysis, travel, food and more. Discover sides of Italy others don't always write about in English."
- Top Nine Handheld Snacks Not to Miss in Italy – "You probably already know that my mother was born in Italy, right? And given that I’ve been going to Italy since I was born, I am rather familiar with it too, so I’d like to share some of my favorite handheld “snacks” with you. Granted, some of these snacks will keep you going for hours (like the porchetta panini), but these would never be considered a meal by Italian standards! Here they are in no particular order~" – November 6th, 2014 – Authentic Italian Food Blogger: Christina Conte – "About" – Source: Christina's Cucina – "A Scottish Italian cook living in Los Angeles, Christina is usually cooking, baking or (cr)eating something scrumptious. When she isn't in the kitchen, she loves to travel, near and far, as long as there's good food involved. Christina is on a mission to save authentic Italian dishes from extinction, and is constantly promoting Scottish (and British) food as some of the best cuisine the world has to offer—one steak pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding at a time."

RECIPES
- Italian Snacks – "Italians are by nature gourmands, and they typically enjoy eating on any occasion they get, so snacks are an important element in their every-day diet. Eating in-between meals is a regular thing, and they have many available choices. From baked cheese crackers and mozzarella sticks, to cold cuts like prosciutto, salame, sausages, pancetta and mortadella pieces with pickles, you definitely have lots of choices. More sophisticated snacks include chicken liver crostini, cipolle con le sarde (onions with sardines), and polpi all’Aceto (pickled octopus). Eggplant can also be served pickled with bread sticks, and tomatoes. Many Italian dishes are served with herb-seed bread, and sometimes this type of bread can be eaten as a snack. It usually contains basil, dill, oregano and sesame seeds and can be used for delicious snack sandwiches. Bell peppers are great for preparing Italian snacks, and can be served with tuna or can be stuffed with eggplant and bread crumbs." – "Browse All Italian Recipes: Italian Appetizers | Italian Beverages | Italian Soups | Italian Salads | Italian Vegetarian | Italian Meat Dishes | Italian Snacks | Italian Desserts " – "About" – Source: Found in the Recipes wikia section on fandom – "POWERED BY wikia"
