The above links are current. In the event of a broken link or if anyone has any suggestions for other sites, please feel free to post your comment and I'll update and/or correct this blog entry.
My wife and I have attended Cantine Aperte, four times in the past 5 years, once in Tuscany and in Marche and twice in Umbria.
While most of the samplings of wine are free, at some cantinas, fattorias and agricolas, there may be an additional charge for their premium wines and/or they may ask for a contribution to defray food costs.
Please note: If a cantina is not a member of the Movimento Turismo del Vino, it is not listed above. Some regions have not provided information about their respective participation in Cantine Aperte. As soon as I see it on the Movimento Turismo del Vino web site, I'll update this blog entry. If anyone has any information on Cantine Aperte they would like to share or an update, please feel free to post it as a comment or send me an email MSG.
